The Chicagoose 2001
We were lucky enough to have the APA's annual Wayzgoose convention close to home this year; home being northern Minnesota.
Billed the "CHICAGOOSE," it was actually in Gurnee, Illinois, on the outskirts of Chicago, and as close as any of us cared to get to the big city.
For this trip, I rode with my dad and his wife, Duane and Dolly Scott, in their new van.
Our adventure started with a trip to Paul Aken's working Platen Press museum & printshop in Zion, Illinois. He has so many
presses and collections of printing related items that one printer summed it up, when he said to Paul, "You win!"
Please revist the convention with a few photographs that I took along the way
