Guy George taught us hymns for the hammer'd dulcimer in
another session. By special request, we got Guy to teach a second class in pennywhistle, and he taught us that you CAN make a pennywhistle sound good!
Another special treat was Victor George Suha from Hungary, playing
the cymbalam. Here (left) Victor explains the stringing arrangement, which follows a chromatic scale, to a fascinated Jody Marshall. The list of musicians who performed and were our instructors is long and
impressive. More information on them is available on the Augusta website and also on my links page.
